As National Poetry Month ends, we are sharing a poem written by our Associate Director of Education and Training, Dubbs Weinblatt.

If I Would Have Known

If I would have known

I would have squeezed a little harder

I would have held on a little longer

I would have stayed for one more

I would have traveled the extra mile

I would have listened harder

I would have been more patient

I would have been more giving

I would have been more kind

I would have smiled bigger

I would have held your hand

I would have told you I loved you

But we don’t know

We never know

We part with an understanding we’ll meet again

But we don’t know

We never know

If I would have known
