Learn The Art of Papercutting Online

This one-hour workshop with My Jewish Learning will take place on Monday, June 29, at 7 p.m. EDT

Tour the studio of internationally renowned artist Jeanette Kuvin Oren, learn about the Jewish art of papercutting, and make your own papercut art.

Make sure to prepare by doing the following:

  3. Print Hamsa template.
  4. Print Aleph template.

Since 1984, Jeanette has created commissioned Judaic art for more than 400 synagogues, schools, community centers and camps around the world. She specializes in large installations of glass, mosaic, metal, fiber art, calligraphy, papercutting, and painting. Jeanette makes Torah covers, Ark curtains, Donor Art, Huppot, Ketubot, Wallhangings, and many other items for homes and institutions. Jeanette has studios in Connecticut and Jerusalem.
