Jewish Fiction Writing 101

Hosted By: Hey Alma

Join Hey Alma for our brand new writing class: Jewish Fiction Writing 101! If you’ve got a Jewish short story or novel you’re working on… or if you’re even just thinking about working on one… this is the class for you.

The class will be taught by Gabrielle Korn, author of memoir “Everybody (Else) Is Perfect” and novels “Yours For The Taking” and “The Shutouts.” She’s also the guest judge of Hey Alma’s second Jewish Fiction Contest, so if you’re planning on entering, come find out what she’s looking for in short fiction!

In this 90-minute class, Gabrielle will cover how to figure out what your story is, structure, how to build character that feel real and how to get started. There will also be opportunities to ask Gabrielle questions about writing and publishing.

This class is open to all ages (18+) and all writing levels. This class will not be recorded.
