Lines of Identity: A Conversation with Cartoonist Liana Finck

Hosted By: Orange County Jewish Community Scholar Program ("CSP")

The Community Scholar Program presents a conversation with cartoonist Liana Finck, known for her humorous and heartfelt explorations of modern life and Jewish identity. A regular contributor to The New Yorker and author of graphic works such as “Passing for Human” and “Let There Be Light,” Finck reimagines biblical stories and reflects on faith, doubt, and creativity. She will discuss her artistic process, the role of Judaism in her work, and how cartoons capture both timeless and contemporary human experiences.
