Hosted By: Orange County Jewish Community Scholar Program ("CSP")
Orange County Community Scholar Program presents a class exploring the month of Tishrei as a time of reflection, joy, and renewal. Through the lens of Jewish art and archaeology, the session will examine Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah, highlighting mosaics, manuscripts, Samaritan sukkot, and temple-era trumpets. Participants will discover how generations of Jews have expressed the sacred through symbols and spaces, with each holiday revealing a unique facet of Jewish identity and belief.
