Hosted By: Moment Magazine

Moment Magazine presents a conversation with Ken Shuldman, author of “Jazz Survivor: The Story of Louis Bannet,” about the life of celebrated Dutch jazz musician Louis Bannet. Arrested during the Holocaust and sent to Auschwitz, Bannet survived by performing in the camp orchestra. Shuldman will be joined by jazz musician Joe Alterman, executive director of Neranenah, to discuss Bannet’s story and the role of music in his survival.
