CCAR Press Speaker Series: “The Sacred Earth: Jewish Perspectives on Our Planet”

Hosted By: CCAR Press

Join CCAR Press to celebrate the release of “The Sacred Earth: Jewish Perspectives on Our Planet,” edited by Rabbi Andrue Kahn. This collection is a contemporary Jewish response to climate change, the desire for experiential spirituality rooted in nature, and the changing relationship between humanity, nature, and the Divine. Leading thinkers in this collection reflect on human vulnerability in the face of forces of nature, grapple with environmental destruction, and creatively explore ways to redeem our planet.

This event will feature Rabbi Andrue Kahn in conversation with two contributors, Kohenet Shamirah Bechirah (Sarah Chandler) and Rabbi Jennie Rosenn. Moderated by Rabbi Annie Villarreal-Belford, Editor at CCAR Press.
