Renewal Rabbis

This just in from JTA:

Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, founder and leader of Jewish Renewal, ordained two rabbis, two rabbinic pastors and one cantor Sunday at the annual conference of Ohalah, the association of Jewish Renewal rabbis, in Boulder, Colo. (MORE)

Anyone know who the two new rabbis are?

I was indeed at the conference — sorry I didn’t manage to report back with anything else of import. There was a pretty good piece on JTA recently about the ordination, and about the Aleph program in general…

Though I often enjoy liveblogging conferences, Ohalah turns out not to be the kind of gathering one liveblogs. It feels more like a very large family reunion to me than like a professional conference per se; in a sense I guess it’s both. Anyway, I put up a few brief posts about my time there — Two tiny Ohalah moments, Words and Notes, and on my way home, Echo.
