Virtual Tour of The Hermitage Museum from the Jewish Perspective

Hosted By: Baltimore Zionist District

Join BZD and Evgenia (Jane) Kempinski on a virtual tour of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg from a Jewish perspective.

The Hermitage museum is St. Petersburg’s most popular visitor attraction and one of the world’s largest and most prestigious museums. One can visit it daily, monthly, or once a year; but with over 3 million items in its collection, one never fully grasps all that it has to offer.

Jane will be taking viewers on a virtual tour of the Hermitage designed to share the museum from A Jewish perspective. This tour will focus on the art and masterpieces featuring unique Jewish treasures.

Additionally, we will walk through the empty museum halls and have the opportunity to take a closer look at the museum’s highlights and less-known items.
