Tour Global Jewish Life: Egypt

Hosted By: Maven

Embark on a journey through time, starting from the era of Moses through the Golden Age of Egyptian Jewry, up to today’s Jewish Egypt. Our destination is an Egypt that was a harmonious blend of tolerance, indigenous traditions, and open-mindedness, where Jews and their Muslim neighbors coexisted peacefully, and extended families enjoyed a safe and joyous existence. Along the way, you will explore both world and Jewish history, our tour guide Louise Arwas’ family history, and even make stops at iconic Jewish sites in Egypt. Honor the past and reflect on the possibilities of a brighter future.
