The Torah’s Elevator Pitch

There is a story in the Midrash of several rabbis discussing what the most important pasuk (verse) in the Torah is — Rabbi Akiva says it’s, “Love your neighbor as yourself;” Ben Zoma says it’s, “Shema Yisrael…,” and so on.
In this 3-part course, Rabbinic Intern Naomi Gurt Lind will guide us as we look at the themes of each proposed pasuk and discuss why each Rabbi chose the pasuk he did, as well as which one speaks to us individually today.
