The 7 Most Unique Synagogues in Israel

Hosted By: Volunteers for Israel (VFI)

There are approximately 10,500 synagogues in Israel, and most of them look more or less the same. There, however, are some which are incredibly unique because of their history, appearance, community, or a combination of all three. We will “visit” a mosaic synagogue, a synagogue which has a Rabbi’s grave inside it, one in which people pray in a non-existent language, and more. This is a great opportunity to add a few more stops to your next in-person tour of Israel.
