Meditation and Kabbalah

Hosted By: Kabbalah Experience

What is meditation? How to do it? And Why? The potential physical, psychological, and spiritual benefits of a regular meditation practice are now well documented. And for me, it’s all about awareness and agency. This workshop is designed for beginners, and to borrow wisdom from Zen master Shunryu Suzuki, in meditation (and life) we do well to cultivate a “beginner’s mind.” As a beginner with more than three decades of experience meditating, I have been collecting meditative techniques from a wide array of cultural traditions and teachers – from Zazen, Vipassana Yoga, Tibetan Buddhism, Sufi dance, and Gregorian chant, and Kabbalah, to athletic training and modern mindfulness practice. Join me for an experiential and collaborative exploration of the power of intention as we engage a spectrum of playful, meditative techniques designed to cultivate awareness, lovingkindness, and joy.
