Rachel Linsky is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and educator. For the past two years, Rachel has been directing and choreographing ZACHOR, an ongoing project series that seeks to preserve the words of WWII Holocaust survivors through dance. Rachel’s choreography has been presented in national and international dance festivals including Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, Prague International Monthly Film Festival, Early Mosely’s Diversity of Dance Dance is Activism Film Festival and Boston Center for the Arts’ Dance Documentation in Isolation series. Her creative work has been awarded funding by the New England Foundation for the Arts, the City of Boston, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, and the Russell J. Efros Foundation. Rachel recently completed an artist residency at Chelsea Theatre Works, and created an original work for the JArts and Museum of Fine Arts, Boston’s Hanukkah 2021 celebration, “Hanukkah: The Festival of Lights.”
