JLive with Alex Salsberg

Hosted By: JArts

Alex Salsberg is an animator, filmmaker, writer, and educator who shares his creativity through his animation company, PokeGravy Studios. Alex “loves telling funny stories with heart.” He brings his love of storytelling and comedy to a wide variety of projects; Alex has generated content and directed videos for clients such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Dell, and Boston Children’s Hospital. He is interested in the intersection of creativity and mental health, and is the cofounder of AniMAtic Boston, which hosts events during which Alex interviews a wide range of voices from the New England animation community. Alex is currently an adjunct professor at Lesley University, where he helps students tell their own stories.

JLive is JArts’s series of virtual cultural experiences. Meet some of the best Boston area talent, telling their Jewish story through art.
