Future Tense

Hosted By: London School of Jewish Studies (LSJS)

London School of Jewish Studies presents the final part of its year-long course on the writings of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, focusing on his bold and sometimes controversial book “Future Tense.” In it, Rabbi Sacks argues that while Jewish perceptions of isolation are understandable, they can lead to harmful decisions and missed opportunities for engagement with the world. The course will explore key themes—Jewish continuity, antisemitism, and Israel’s global role—through the lens of recent events and Rabbi Sacks’s enduring belief in hope and humanity.
