Crash Course in the History of Israel and Zionism

In this crash course, participants will learn about the history of Israel and Zionism from Biblical times to the modern day. SESSION ONE will begin by examining the ancient roots of Zionism, followed by a timeline of Israel from ancient times until the British Mandate. SESSION TWO will pick up with the founding of the modern State of Israel. Participants will examine significant wars, peace agreements, and current events. Exiles, wars, Zionism, and the return to Israel will be discussed in this extensive and important presentation.
