The Israel-Diaspora Divide: We Don’t Know Enough About Each Other

Hosted By: American Jewish Committee (AJC)

Watch the recording of this session here:

In June, AJC released its annual survey of American Jewish opinion along with a companion survey capturing the views of Israeli Jews. The two surveys shed light on the perspectives of American and Israeli Jews on a range of important topics, including the relationship between the Jewish state and the Diaspora. What is the current state of Israel-Diaspora relations? How much do the communities know about one another? How is each community educating about the other?

Join Dr. Laura Shaw Frank, AJC’s Director of Contemporary Jewish Life, Alon Friedman, Founding CEO of Enter: The Jewish Peoplehood Alliance, and Dr. Noam Weissman, Senior Vice President at OpenDor Media to unpack the findings of the AJC surveys and to answer these critical questions and more.
