The Temple’s Destruction: Three Ancient Accounts
Hosted By: My Jewish Learning
Tisha B’Av is a day of mourning for the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. In this class, we’ll examine different accounts of the destruction in order to understand how people across time and space understood why the Temple was destroyed. Dr. Sara Ronis joins us to explore how telling different versions of our history can help us make meaning in a complicated world and connect us to different aspects of our heritage.
