The Museum of the Land of Israel: Layers of History in the Heart of Tel Aviv

Hosted By: Orange County Jewish Community Scholar Program ("CSP")

The Community Scholar Program offers a virtual tour of MUZA, Eretz Israel Museum, a multidisciplinary cultural institution built around Tel Qasile, the first archaeological site excavated in the modern State of Israel. Located in north Tel Aviv, the museum combines ancient remains with expansive grounds and diverse pavilions dedicated to glass, ceramics, numismatics, folklore, and more. The session will explore the site’s 3,000-year-old history, rare collections, and ongoing efforts to connect archaeological heritage with contemporary cultural exhibitions.
