Resilience Isn’t A Solo Project: The Interdependence Lessons From Ruth That We Most Need Now
Hosted By: Judaism Unbound
For a number of reasons, we read the Book of Ruth on Shavuot; and, as it happens, this book has a lot to teach us about moving from suffering and trauma to resilience and hope, on both an individual and communal level– lessons that we very badly need today. In fact, this story can offer us some critical models of community care that we can use at this critical moment in history. This is one of many sessions taking place during Judaism Unbound’s 24-hour online learning festival, ShavuotLive.
