“It Ain’t the Heat, It’s the Humility”: Jewish Leadership for the 21st Century

What role does humility have in good leadership? Although we may think a good leader is someone who is bold, decisive and ultra-confident, Hal M. Lewis argues that the best leaders are often also the most humble. Using a variety of sources from both Jewish tradition and contemporary management strategy, Lewis illustrates how humble leaders have reached amazing achievements. In doing so, Lewis carves out a more nuanced definition of humility that can guide us into successful Jewish leadership in the 21st century.
