Michael Solomonov has done it again, earning the coveted James Beard Award for Outstanding Chef.

Solomonov’s Philly-based restaurant Zahav and his Israeli-Jewish background served as inspiration for his beautiful, award-winning cookbook Zahav. Last year his casual, Israel-style “hummuseria” Dizengoff opened an outpost in New York City.

Mazal tov to Chef Solomonov – can’t wait to see what he conquers next.
