Join Rabbi Nathan Kamesar of Society Hill Synagogue in Philadelphia, as we explore this understanding of God and how the ritual of Kabbalat Shabbat—the psalms and poetry through which we welcome Shabbat on Friday evenings—can be seen as a response to this sense of Divine loneliness, which has reverberations for how we experience the world around us.
