Join the BZD and tour guide Evgenia Kempinski as you explore the beauty of Norway and speak about this country’s brief yet tragic Jewish history. The conversation will cover The first Jewish community established in Oslo back in the 19th century; The growth of Jewish life in Norway in the first half of the 20th century; Norwegian Jews during WWII; The miraculous survival of an Oslo Synagogue during the War; The Re-establishment of the Jewish Community and the revival of Jewish life in Norway; And finally modern-day Antisemitism and views towards Israel.
