The Resurrection: Is it Fact or Fiction

Hosted By: The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program at Case Western Reserve University

There is a famous saying that when the Messiah comes, he will be asked, ‘Is this your first appearance or your second?’. In this class, we will explore Jewish and Christian perspectives on this question. We will study a description of the Gospel accounts, the similarities and differences between the Jewish views of resurrection and the accounts of Jesus, inconsistencies in the New Testament accounts themselves, and Jewish responses to the claims of Christian apologists.

Wednesdays, June 1 – 22
