The Jerusalem Declaration on Antisemitism: Untangling Knotty Questions

Hosted By: Temple Israel of Boston

Join Dr. Alon Confino (UMass Amherst) and Dr. Rebecca Kobrin (Columbia University) for a discussion about the Jerusalem Declaration on Antisemitism (JDA), a scholarly document that can serve as a guide for understanding what antisemitism is – and what it isn’t.

Kobrin and Confino will discuss their involvement with the JDA, the personal and scholarly meaning it holds for them, and the wider context of contestation over the definition of antisemitism around the world. Emma Saltzberg of the JDA Project – USA will facilitate.

This online event is free and open to all. Contact Brigid Goggin at bgoggin@tisrael.org to learn more.
