Opera & Judaism

Hosted By: Am Haskalah

Did you know that:

Famous opera composer, Giuseppe Verdi, wrote an opera about the Jewish exile to Babylonia? One of the kings of French grand opera was Jewish? Moses and Aaron even made it to the Opera stage?

Join Am Haskalah Continuing Education and Rabbi Steve Nathan to explore a little bit of Jewish Opera history. This will end with a little tribute to some of the great Jewish opera singers in history as well. Open to all.
