Muhammad And The Jews

Hosted By: The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program at Case Western Reserve University

This course will provide an overview of the ways in which Muhammad and the early Muslim community related to Judaism in general and the Jews of Arabia in particular. Students will study relevant passages from the Quran as well as other historical documents and discuss the extent to which these early interactions set the stage for Jewish-Muslim relations in later eras.

Tuesdays, August 1–22 | 7:30–9 p.m. ET
