‘Moï Ver: Modernist Pioneer and Chronicler of Jewish Transformation’
Hosted By: Orange County Jewish Community Scholar Program ("CSP")
The Orange County Jewish Community Scholar Program will explore the life and legacy of Moï Ver, a pioneering artist who fused modernist techniques with Jewish heritage. This session, presented alongside Israel’s first major exhibition of his work, will examine his contributions as a photographer, painter, and graphic designer. From documenting pre-Holocaust Jewish communities to capturing the rise of Zionist identity, Moï Ver’s art offers a powerful visual narrative of 20th-century Jewish life.
