Hosted By: My Jewish Learning

Watch the recording of this class here:

In this workshop with My Jewish Learning, learn about the world of bookbinding, and make your very own booklet for Shabbat! The booklet will contain blessings and prayers used in Friday evening ritual. The session will be led by artist and bookbinder Rachel Jackson.

To participate in the hands-on activity, please purchase your $10 material kit from Rachel Jackson’s Etsy shop.

The kit includes the typeset pages, thread, a needle, cardstock for the cover, and a label. You will also need glue or a glue stick. Kits must be purchased by Thursday, February 18.

If you prefer, or after February 18, you can gather the items listed above at an art store/online, and download the Shabbat blessings pages here.
