Jewish and Christian Interpretations of the Torah
Hosted By: Haberman Institute
The Torah, the first five books of the Hebrew Bible, is sacred and central to both Judaism and Christianity. The texts sit at the core of theologies, prayer, and ritual practices. Yet, as would be expected, Jewish interpretations often vary greatly from those of Christian traditions. In many cases, both understandings are based on the historical context and theology underlying the interpretations.
In this course, discover Torah stories that explore the views and lessons from both traditions, and their theological significance to our world today.
