Friendship as a Jewish Priority
Hosted By: The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning
As we begin the secular new year and continue emerging from the shadow of the pandemic, many of us are reflecting on what we lost, what we gained, and, maybe most importantly, what we want to prioritize in our lives going forward. For most of us, relationships often rise to the top of that list of priorities. In this special, one-time, text-study class taught by Melton’s Executive Director, Rabbi Rachel Bovitz, we will look at how our rabbis understood friendship and consider what wisdom we can glean from their writings. Join us as we focus our learning on renewing the friendships in our lives.
