‘Finding Home (Hungary, 1945)’—The Little-Known Postwar Jewish Experience, with Dean Cycon

The Yiddish Book Center will host a reading and performance event featuring Dean Cycon’s debut novel, “Finding Home (Hungary, 1945),” which explores the emotional, moral, and economic struggles of Jewish concentration camp survivors returning to their hometowns after liberation. Cycon will read passages from the novel, accompanied by live klezmer and Hungarian folk music performed by Bea Carlson and Jason Ditzian. The event will conclude with a book signing.
