Dracula: Antisemitism and British Gothic Literature

Hosted By: Orange County Jewish Community Scholar Program ("CSP")

Community Scholar Program presents a one-hour online conversation with Aaron Henne, Artistic Director of theatre dybbuk, and Dr. Carol Margaret Davison, scholar and author of “Anti-Semitism and British Gothic Literature.” The discussion will examine how the figure of the Wandering Jew and themes of Jewish difference and assimilation appear in British Gothic fiction, with particular focus on Bram Stoker’s “Dracula.” This event is presented in connection with the upcoming premiere of theatre dybbuk’s “Dracula (Annotated).”
