Concern for pollution and global warming are often perceived within the Orthodox Jewish world as ‘a good thing to care about’. But in reality these issues are deeply rooted in Jewish law, turning them from the category of ‘advisory’ to ‘mandatory’. This lecture will explore the roots of environmental issues within the framework of Halacha.
