Curious About Conversion?

Hosted By: 18Doors

Are you curious about conversion? What is the process like? How long does converting to Judaism take? What questions could you be asking yourself when deciding whether or not to convert?

18Doors hopes this program helps guide you to some answers! Join two educators and two converts in a conversation about converting to Judaism.

Rabbi Steven Philp from Mishkan and Cantor Liz Berke from Anshe Emet will share what it is like to convert in their two different programs, and they will also share some of the formalities and processes that go into converting.

Eliot Colin and Tani Prell (from 18Doors Chicago) will share their own personal journeys to conversion and what their life has been like after.

This event is not being recorded and is a safe space for anyone who is curious to learn more about this unique path to Judaism. If you are conversion-curious, in an interfaith relationship and have wondered what conversion would be like, or just want to know more, you’re in the right place. 18Doors recognizes this isn’t the path for everyone, and want to share information with anyone who might find meaning in this potential step in their life.
