Lois Gaylord creates an interwoven world as she defines oneness through textiles and fiber arts. Her work includes ceremonial cloths, fine fabric and felting. Crafting treasured fabric creations is the work of her heart. A dyer and seamstress, she is a maker of connections. Her passion for discovery and her deeply spiritual outlook informs her art. Delving into diverse traditions, she has explored her Jewish roots through the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Training Program.

Art and Scroll Studio is a monthly virtual program offered by the adult education department of Temple B'nai Tikvah, Calgary, in association with the American Guild of Judaic Art. Each episode offers a professionally curated gallery presentation and conversation with well-known Judaic artists. Shelley Werner, designer and award-winning speaker is the host of these events.
