A special joint hybrid meeting of the Chicago Jewish Historical Society and the Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois will feature author Neal Samors discussing his latest book, “Memories of Growing Up in Chicago: Recalling Life During the 20th Century.” Samors will speak in person at Temple Beth-El in Northbrook, Illinois, at 2 p.m. CDT, with the talk also available online via Zoom for registered attendees. Also, the JGSI genealogy library and help desk will be open starting at 12:30 p.m. CDT.
