Dr. Jane Shapiro is an adult educator based in Skokie, Illinois. She is one of the founders of Orot: Center for New Jewish Learning where she teaches all sorts of classes which blend Torah with poetry, art, Hassidut and literature. She is also a mentor and coach to teachers on aspects of pedagogy and Jewish communal work. Her Eli talk, The Torah of Bubbiehood, and work with Jewish Grandparents Network helps her connect life as a Bubbie to five to her work as a teacher.
