Bubbe and the Rabbi’s Wife: A Lesson in Laughter

What exactly is kosher laughter? Rachel Levitt Klein and her grandmother take up sides in this rousing and humor-filled debate about how our Jewish tradition teaches us through its own subtitles about when and how it’s appropriate to crack yourself (and others) up.

Rachel Levitt Klein is currently Director of Student Life and Israel Guidance at the Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Previously, she worked at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy as the Dean of Students. Rachel has spent her summers and other spare time engaged in informal educational activities. Over the span her career, Rachel has been able to serve as Judaic Studies teacher, special programming coordinator, and scholar in residence.
