Everyone can tap into their own creativity and use it to help deal with adversity. When we do so, we actively choose yitzar tov (good inclination) over yitzar rah (evil inclination). Drawing from her experience as a modern dance choreographer, Lin Batsheva Kahn discusses how creativity provides an important outlet for dealing with misfortune. Kahn argues that creativity helps us build connections with others and move toward goodness in the face of adversity.
