Josephine Schizer is a student at the Ramaz Upper School in Manhattan. She was gabbai of the middle school women's tefilah last year and just started a women's tefilah group at her synagogue, Congregation Ramath Orah. She is on the Torah Bowl, debate and tennis teams; writes for the school newspaper; and is on the FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) teen board. Her favorite subjects are Gemara and math, and outside of school, she enjoys cooking, reading, and computer programming.
