Ann Zisser

Ann Zisser has been an elementary school educator for over 20 years, in Jewish day schools and afternoon religious schools, with an MS in Special Education from Hunter College, and a BA in Economics from SUNY Albany. Ann has taught in formal classrooms settings, and is now the Math Curriculum Specialist at Beit Rabban Day School in Manhattan. In addition, she teaches in the religious schools at two synagogues in Westchester. Ann volunteers in family, early childhood, and community programming at her synagogue at Bet Am Shalom in White Plains, having served on the Board, and now currently chairing the Family Programming Committee, as well as involved in other committees. Ann is also working on getting involved in efforts to raise awareness about mental health issues, particularly in the Jewish world. Ann is married to Rabbi Sandy Zisser, also a Jewish educator, has two children and lives in White Plains. Ann enjoys walking, running, reading and baking.
