Born and raised in Israel, Amir has been fascinated by cooking ever since he was a little boy. He still cannot say who was a better cook – his mum or his grandma – but they both taught him a lot. After traveling the world, Amir returned to Israel and studied pastry in Israel’s largest culinary school. Though he started out as a pastry chef, Amir wassoon drawn to the other side of the kitchen. After working with the Machneyuda group, followed by launching one of Israel’s finest boutique hotels, Amir settled in the UK and has worked with renowned companies such as Jamie Oliver and Tony Page.
