The Week That Was

This week was Sukkot. If you missed it, I guess there’s always next year. At least that’s what I tell myself. On MJL though, they didn’t forget about the holiday. In fact, everything I have to share with you has to do with holidays.

First, our wonderful Associate Editor, Shoshanna, has given us a great recipe for Sukkot. While some of you may think that Stuffed Pumpkin is a good Halloween recipe, you’re wrong. Just plain wrong.

Going with the stuffed theme, we also have a new recipe for Stuffed Cabbage Rolls. I’ll give you a hint on what it’s stuffed with. It’s not cabbage.

Finally, we have a few articles from Rabbi DovBer Pinson about the spirituality of different holidays throughout the year (because, as I’ve learned from Judaism, you can never have enough holidays). Here are two of them: One about lighting Hanukkah candles, the other on the Seder Plate. Store them away until those holidays come up.

Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach!
