Open Siddur Project — Sharing the many rich forms of Jewish prayers and religious text
Hosted By: Jewish Study Center
The Jewish Study Center presents a program on the Open Siddur Project, a volunteer-driven, non-profit initiative launched in 2009 to digitize and preserve Jewish prayers, liturgies, and related works across eras, regions, and languages. The project provides openly licensed texts, tools, and resources to support adaptive reuse in siddurim (prayerbooks) and other devotional practices. Its mission is to empower personal autonomy, preserve diverse customs, and foster vitality and openness in Jewish religious culture.
