Hatred, Holiness & the Image of God
Hosted By: Haberman Institute
The Haberman Institute for Jewish Studies presents a program exploring sinat chinam—baseless hatred—as a root cause of division and destruction, drawing from classical and contemporary Jewish texts. Rabbi Lauren Tuchman will examine how recognizing the divine image in each person can help heal fractured communities and relationships. Through multi-vocal learning and reflection on Tisha B’Av and Yom Kippur, the session asks what might be possible if we truly honored the sacredness of every human soul.
