Walking Tour of the Lower East Side

Once home to the largest Jewish population in the world, the Lower East Side still bears traces of Jewish life from the turn of the last century. Historian Scott Brevda will show you what life was like for Jewish immigrants 100 years ago, where children played, where people shopped and ate, how they received news, and even where they banked.

Put on your hats and mittens and join The Museum at Eldridge Street for a Jewish Lower East Side Walking Tour on Sunday, February 20th at 1PM to marvel at the stories and architecture of this historic neighborhood.
