The Book of Job: Whose Test is It? (Class 2)

Hosted By: My Jewish Learning

Watch the recording of this session here:

Job has it all – a large healthy family, friends, wealth, and religious faith, until a conversation between God and Satan leads to a test: if all of his blessings got taken away– would Job still be faithful?

In this three-part series with My Jewish Learning, we’ll look closely at the original Job text as well as various interpretations to see who is really being tested. Come with your questions and your own experiences of faith, grief, suffering, and tests, for this class with Rabbi Dorothy Richman. No previous knowledge of Hebrew or Torah study necessary.
